Contest rules

These rules apply to the contests and raffles organised by The Sim Power on the website thesimpower.be. Participation implies full acceptance of the rules.
1. Organiser

2. Acceptance of the rules
By participating in the contest, the participant unreservedly accepts these rules as well as the privacy policy. The Sim Power reserves the right to amend the rules; the version in force is the one published on the site.
3. Conditions of participation
- participation is open to natural persons of legal age (18 years and over);
- participation by minors is strictly prohibited and results in cancellation;
- persons whose activity is linked, directly or indirectly, to racing simulators or car simulation software are excluded;
- participation requires a valid account and an accurate e-mail address.
4. How to participate and ticket price
Participation is by purchasing one or more tickets, the unit price of which is indicated on the contest page. Payment is securely processed by Stripe. Each contest is limited to the number of tickets provided and announced on its page.
A free participation option is available on simple written request sent to info@thesimpower.com, with no obligation to purchase, in accordance with applicable regulations.
5. Contest period
Each contest runs for the period indicated on its page, or until the available tickets are exhausted if this limit is reached before the end date.
6. Prizes
The prizes at stake are described on each contest page. By way of example, a contest may involve:
- 1st prize: a premium racing simulator;
- 2nd prize: a package of simulation hours;
- 3rd prize: a package of simulation hours.
Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or converted into cash. Any delivery of a prize takes place in Belgium, at ground-floor level of the address indicated by the winner.
7. Draw and designation of the winner
The winner(s) are designated by draw at the end of the contest, where applicable under the supervision of a bailiff. Any participant who does not comply with the rules is excluded without recourse.
8. Announcement and delivery of the prize
The winner is informed by e-mail and has seven (7) calendar days to reply. Failing a reply within this period, they forfeit their prize, without recourse, and a new winner is designated. The Sim Power may verify the winner's identity before delivering the prize.
9. Data protection
The data collected in connection with the contest is processed by The Sim Power, as data controller, solely for the management of the contest (participation, designation and announcement of winners). In accordance with the GDPR, the participant has a right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, to be exercised at info@thesimpower.com.
10. Liability
Participation is under the sole responsibility of the participant. The Sim Power cannot be held liable for any damage related to participation or to the use of a prize, nor for any technical failure. The Sim Power may amend, postpone, cancel or interrupt a contest in the event of force majeure.
11. Applicable law and disputes
These rules are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the French-speaking courts of Brussels. The consumer may also use the Consumer Mediation Service (Belgium).
12. Amendment of the rules
The Sim Power reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Any amendment takes effect as soon as it is published on the site.
